A little history...

The Shampan Group was established in 1989 with the original Shampan restaurant located in Bromley, Kent. As the popularity of Shampan grew and they started becoming a household name within Bromley and surrounding areas, group director Sufian Miah along with operations partner Abdul Malik decided that it was time to expand.

2006 saw the opening of Shampan in Welling, Kent, which has been a runaway success even in the midst of well established Indian restaurants within the area due to their unique service and food standards.

The constant yearning to grow the Shampan brand and take things to another level was what inspired them to embark on their biggest project to date, the Shampan at The Spinning Wheel in Westerham, Kent.

The new locations boasts 330 seats, 5 separate dining areas 2 fully stocked bars, 1 cocktail bar, 1 coffee bar, a private dining room, an al fresco dining area and a lounge that would not be out of place in a 5 star hotel, this restaurant has definitely taken things onto a whole new level.

The group has won many awards and have been constantly in the top 100 best Indian restaurants in the UK for the last 5 years.
